How to add content and setup page structure using page parts.

Now you have setup your page, it's time to start adding content and setting your structure.

The structure of a page is made up of page parts, some have a specific purpose like the dealer list, and some can be edited with text and images using .

Before you start

Before you start adding page parts, you need to understand the purpose of the page, what information you want to display and how you would ideally like to display it. In knowing this you can decide which page parts to implement.

It's best to familiarise yourself with all the available page parts and then decide which ones best suit the purpose of the page.


How do I add a Page Part?

  1. Open your page in Desktop.
  2. Scroll to "Page Parts" section.
  3. From the drop down, select the page part you wish to use.
  4. Give your page part a suitable parameter name.
  5. Press 'add' to add the page part.

Note: When naming the parameter, use an underscore to space words. e.g. Introduction_Text.


Available Page Parts

Page parts can be split into 2 categories, content page parts and specific page parts.

Content Page Parts

Content page parts are designed to hold information, i.e. text and images. They also may have options which allow the content to have different layouts. Click links below to see some examples of what these page parts do and look like.
